Welcome to the Winnipeg South Photo Club. Our club provides an educational and recreational program for the benefit of its members with emphasis placed on the art of photography in a non-competitive atmosphere. The educational portion of the program consists of presentations by guest speakers, technical sessions by club members, and image reviews. Field trips are held on a regular basis for both educational and recreational purposes. Basic photographic techniques are part of the clubs regular program in order to accommodate beginning photographers as well as to refresh the memory of the more experienced photographers. Prospective new members are welcome to attend a meeting prior to becoming a member.
Meetings are held September to May usually on the 1st Wednesday, 3rd Wednesday , and last Wednesday of each month. Meetings are a combination of in person and Zoom meetings. In person meetings are held in the Fort Garry area at Acadia Junior High School at 175 Killarney Avenue.
